About Toon Tone

Toon Tone is a free browser game for anyone who loves color, cartoons, and a good daily challenge.

The idea is simple: every day, you get one cartoon character. You try to rebuild its exact color palette from memory — part by part — using three sliders for hue, saturation, and brightness. Your score is calculated by a perceptual color-distance formula used in professional display calibration.

We built Toon Tone because we love games like Wordle that give you one satisfying puzzle a day, and we love color theory. This project is the intersection of the two.

There's no signup, no ads, and no data collection. All your scores, streaks, and settings live in your browser and never leave your device.
